IPPO Beijing (Reporter Simeng) From July 13 to 20, 2025, Mr. Murad Lafkihen, founder and chairman of the Mediterranean Forum for the Advancement of Citizens' (a UN Economic and Social Council consultative status organization), was commissioned by the International Patriotic Pact Organization (IPPO) to visit China for cooperation and exchange inspections. This visit received strong support from the IPPO China Secretariat (Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association), injecting new impetus into cooperation between Chinese and Moroccan non-governmental organizations in areas such as international human rights.
On July 13, as soon as Mr. Murad Lafkihen arrived in China, he was warmly welcomed at the airport by Mr. Wang Junzhan, a representative of the IPPO China Secretariat. Chinese children, holding bouquets of flowers, extended their sincere greetings to the distinguished guest from afar, and the two sides took a cordial group photo together. This warm and friendly welcome ceremony instantly brought the two sides closer and set a wonderful tone for Mr. Murad Lafkihen's China trip.

On the morning of July 14, accompanied by Mr. Wang Junzhan and a volunteer interpreter, Mr. Murad Lafkihen enthusiastically visited the Great Wall, a landmark building in China. The majesty and grandeur of the Great Wall left him in awe and gave him a more intuitive understanding of China's long and rich history and culture. He said that the Great Wall was not only a treasure of China but also an outstanding representative of world cultural heritage, and this visit deepened his understanding of the profoundness of Chinese culture.

In the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Murad Lafkihen made a special trip to the Beijing office of the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association. During his conversation with President Cui Guowei, he listened attentively to the development history, organizational structure, and the unremitting efforts and fruitful achievements of the IPPO in global governance system construction, international human rights cooperation, cultural exchanges, and other fields. President Cui Guowei also carefully listened to Mr. Murad Lafkihen's detailed introduction about his organization.

The two sides engaged in constructive discussions on the directions and areas of future cooperation, sparking numerous collaborative ideas. After thorough communication, both sides agreed that there was broad potential for cooperation in international human rights causes, cultural exchanges, and other aspects, and that mutual benefit and win-win results could be achieved through cooperation.

After the exchange, the two sides happily signed the IPPO strategic cooperation agreement. The signing of this agreement marked the formal establishment of a strategic partnership between the Mediterranean Forum for the Advancement of Citizens' and the International Patriotic Pact Organization (Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association), opening a new chapter in their cooperation.
Subsequently, President Cui Guowei presented Mr. Murad Lafkihen with a certificate of co-founder of the International Patriotic Pact Organization. This honor not only fully recognized Mr. Murad Lafkihen's personal abilities and influence but also symbolized the firm common determination of both sides to promote the development of the world human rights cause and other fields.

After the signing ceremony, President Cui Guowei presented a calligraphy work with strong Chinese characteristics as a gift. Mr. Murad Lafkihen deeply felt the unique charm of Chinese culture and gained a more profound understanding and appreciation of China's cultural heritage.
In the following days, accompanied by volunteers from the association, Mr. Murad Lafkihen conducted field visits in Beijing, Xinjiang, and other places. He gained an in-depth understanding of China's social development, cultural heritage, and ethnic unity, and spoke highly of China's multiculturalism and harmonious society construction.

Mr. Murad Lafkihen's China trip and the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides undoubtedly built a brand-new bridge for cooperation between Chinese and Moroccan non-governmental organizations in the fields of the International Patriotic Pact initiative and human rights. Looking ahead, both sides will adhere to the concept of win-win cooperation, integrate their advantageous resources, jointly carry out more internationally influential projects, and contribute to the development of the International Patriotic Pact initiative and the global human rights cause.
